Planning the 2008 Outdoor Academy of Sweden

Hello,

We’re busy planning the 2008 Outdoor Academy of Sweden, OAS that will be organized in western Sweden.

For retailers and others who are particularly adventurous, we can reveal that OAS 2008 starts off September 23rd with a two-night stay at a wilderness camp that will involve paddling and hiking in the Dalsland region. After this excursion the group meet up with the press and tour operators at Nordens Ark in Bohuslän. The following days will be filled with activities such as biking, hiking, kayaking, rock climbing and lobster fishing.  All so that the participants can experience the amazing Bohuslän archipelago and discover the many exciting outdoor activities it has to offer.

We will be back soon with more detailed information.

The next Outdoor Academy will be in western Sweden

VisitSweden and Scandinavian Outdoor Group together with SAS is planning the next Outdoor Academy for the fall of 2008 in western Sweden.

The concept of Outdoor Academy is getting a spin off!
Inspired by the success of OAS, VisitSweden and SAS are now planning a Culinary Academy.
The purpose is to increase the awareness of Sweden as a country with great and exciting food. The first Culinary Academy will be in the south, in Skåne, where mainly journalists will be invited.

Weather forcast

Here’s an early weather forcast for the Kiruna region where we’ll be during the 2007 OAS.
